The Stedman SM6500 Near Field Studio Monitor speakers are a well refined and accurate two way monitor system. This two way design incorporates a carefully tuned custom 6.5” low frequency driver that provides an incredibly smooth low end response. For the high end the SM6500 utilizes an efficient fluid cooled 1” soft dome high frequency transducer that provides sonic accuracy with ample headroom for the dynamic peaks of the studio environment. The SM6500 crossover is a minimum parts count, low distortion design that eliminates phase problems that can occur at the critical crossover point. Don’t make the mistake of using a pair of “off the shelf hi-fi speakers” as your reference monitors. We have carefully crafted these speakers so you can get your mixes as accurate as possible in this compact affordable package.
