Stedman GA12 and BA18 - Direct Boxes Hi-Res GA12 Hi-Res BA18
The Stedman GA12 and BA18 are two easy to use direct boxes that employ a unique passive Speaker Reactor circuit without the use of transistors or IC's. The Stedman GA12 Speaker Reactor circuit is a sonic resonant filter that emulates a 12" guitar speaker while the BA18 Speaker Reactor emulates an 18" bass guitar speaker. This design eliminates the need for batteries or phantom power and maintains a direct signal path from instrument amplifier external speaker output to mixer inputs. With the use of an audio balancing transformer, each device is isolated to eliminate ground loop hum problems.Uses include recording and live applications.
